Journal cerebraldebris's Journal: Internet Identity 2

Something is really eating at me. I've been using the same name- cerebraldebris- online since 96 or 97. Almost everything I've joined or subscribed to is done using the name cerebraldebris. It's my online identity. You know, like cmdrtaco, texstar, etc., etc. Just the other day I decided to put my web space back to use to set a new agenda in motion. I have a lot on my mind and decided that my new site would be centered around the very name that I am online: cerebraldebris. ("Pieces of Me. Straight From The Cerebral Cortex.) So I go to register a domain based on that name and POW! Someone is using it already! Now, I know that I could/should have done this long ago. It's that old hindsight biting me in the ass again. But, man, I thought no one else would ever come up with that name. Turns out the site is a little more than a year old. I'm not sure how to approach this with the other person, if at all. The site is actually very nice. I wonder how the Slashdot community feels about this. I don't know. Guess I shouldn't have been so arrogant as to think I had a monopoly on that one. Guess I should've registered the domain long ago. Just bugs me to see, after almost a decade, that someone else is using the same name. Although it is just an ID, I've been developing a plan around that name. Maybe I'm just being silly. Anyhow, I welcome any constructive and intelligent feedback that anyone might have.
