Microsoft claims to be doing a comparison between linux and win* products. Of course this will be a flop. Microsoft is completely incapable of doing an unbiased benchmark, or comparison. They are blind to everything but aggressive business practices. Here is an interview with Bill Gates stating his opinion on the latest microsoft code, http://www.cantrip.org/nobugs.html, doesn't look very objective to me. Perhaps microsoft should leave the OS business and enter politics?

I may not be the biggest linux fan out there, but I have always supported the GPL. Bill Gates was quoted saying that it was a major shortcoming of linux. Maybe if he concentrated on improving his OS, and computer science as a whole he wouldn't have an unstable refabricated GUI as an operating system?
