Journal: Achievements

Today, I realised that Slashdot does achievements, and that I've got some. Now I've got another, by writing a journal entry... a crap one nonetheless.

In fact, I probably should write something... here goes:
Today I'm looking into Freesat boxes, because I'm seriously considering ditching my Sky TV subscription. Six months of Sky will pay for a decent Freesat HD recorder, with no monthly subscription. Ok, so I'll be losing Sky Sports (which I don't watch much of these days) and hundreds of channels I've never watched, but I really won't lose any sleep. I tend to watch the same old channels, most of which are on Freesat anyway. And if it's something like Fringe - only on Sky1 - then I'll just buy the series DVD for 20 quid.
