Makes me wonder if one of the four expelled students has a Daddy that's a prosecutor or in some other position of power. I just can't fathom another reason for prosecuting them...Just reeks of retaliation.

Tell them to give you a performance bonus, then use the money to buy the laptop. Not that hard.

I haven't had a land-line for about 5 months now. Haven't missed it yet. Each member of my family has thier own cell phone, so we didn't really see the point anymore.

I think it has, I know that I at least rely more on spellcheck than I should. Especially with the autocorrect, at least when it just does a squiggly line I have to look at the correct spelling from a list of possibles. When it just automatically fixes my teh's to the's, there is no reason for me to change the way I type. What would scare me is to turn off spellcheck for a day. I wonder if I would even be able to respond to emails from my co-workers. And the children, they are even worse off, they are growing up with this kind of correction, giving them no incentive to learn to spell.

Sadly, I don't think you will get the kind of exposure you want if you go this route. There may be some professors that start using this since they already know you, but it's a paradox. If something is free, it's not worth as much as something that costs $50. Most of your professors and colleges will opt for the $50 book simply because it must contain better information than a free download.
