Agreed. The flip side though is that you'll also get plenty more generations of could-have-gone-on-to-great-things children having never been born e.g. what if Einstein's mom was on the pill? As you say only hindsight is 20/20 and we'll never know what could've been unless you're in some Marvel multiverse movie, but I feel it's important to acknowledge both sides of a debate. I love my kids and we did plan our family to some degree, so I'm not saying birth control is bad or good, just that it can be argued both ways.

as fast as possible without getting arrested so I'd be interested in the best ICE time that didn't break speed limit laws. I'm assuming it'd be a much closer comparison and worthy of consideration.

So how do we tell how much is really inflation (which is definitely an issue) versus companies taking advantage of the inflation to raise their profits.

As a consumer you can never know. So it's safer to assume everyone is taking advantage to increase profits. You'll be wrong sometimes. You'll be right most of the time. Especially when talking about corporations whose stated purpose is to increase shareholder value.

Fruit is best thought of as "Nature's candy" - nice as a treat occasionally, but too loaded with sugar to be healthy if eaten regularly.

Yes fruit has sugar, so if you have special dietary needs talk to you doctor. But for the general population fruit, especially whole fruit, is fine to consume regularly as advised by the FDA. https://www.myplate.gov/. A cup of orange juice is not the same as eating the 6 oranges needed to squeeze out that cup of juice.
