Comment DVD don't rent well (Score 1) 624
Twice in the past 6 weeks or so I've rented a DVD and had to take it back because my DVD player couldn't handle the scratches, etc.
VHS tapes certainly get banged up.. but you can usually play through the bad spots and not "lock up" or freeze.
