It will be the year that the average user can fix problems with their linux without the need for a guru or reading buttloads of pages on different parts of linux and typing line after line of gobbledygook in a cli.

And just so you know PhotoPea does NOT send data to the web, everything happens on the client/browser.
The only time it sends data to the net is if you use its share thingy (cant remember, dont use it).
PhotoPea makes money by ads and subscriptions that remove the ads. The cost is $10US for 3 months and can be so low because he pays bugger all for server costs due to the what I said above. The subscription is not ongoing and must be bought every time it runs out, probably to remove ongoing costs on his end (no automation needed). Hes making over a million a year so its working quite well for him (one man team, all profit).
