why? If they have their standard shows they watch, they're going to watch them whether it's light outside or dark.
If they like to sit in front of the TV all evening, I doubt that an hour change is going to suddenly inspire them to do something different. It's not like the shows have shifted.

Journal Journal: Wow.

It's threads like this that make me proud to be a troll. I got assloads of karma and another user got the piss taken from him (because he doesn't view signatures! ha!).

Journal Journal: Michael has returned

Michael Sims posted an article today. He hadn't done so in more than two weeks, leading to speculation that Michael Sims had been fired from his post as Slashdot "editor."

Sadly, this means that I have upgraded my Slashdot boycott status from SF3 to SF2. Michael Sims' injustices will be remembered.

Journal Journal: Apology

As you know, I'm a troll impostor of Seth Finkelstein. I post long-winded diatribes to mock the fixation of Mr. Finkelstein with Slashdot and its editor Michael Sims, with whom Finkelstein has fought a long-running battle.

The Internet

Journal Journal: Bleat, you sheep! 1

Wow. A really biased, unscientific comparison between Google and Overture gets moderated way the hell up without question. The Slashdot groupthink is hard at work debunking every other search engine, even though "Overture search" is merely a test of Overture's sponsored listing features.

I'd just like to thank Slashdot's own missing000 for helping me out with my fascinating cybersecurity research.

Here is a comment from missing000.

Hi, seth.

The 2000 Beanies

Journal Journal: Haha

I got a +5 post today by doing a Google search and simply pasting five matches into a short message. One of them is even a clickthrough to a Google AdWords ad! (Can you spot the clickthrough?)

Journal Journal: My karma 1

My karma is going up. I am the ownage. Man.

The legendary ekrout was onto something. If you just search for the article topic on AltaVista, then you can easily find a few good links to put into a post. Boom. ! Instant-o karmo.
