port scan (Score 1)

This is nice to know as someone wanted my help to check for a trojan. I did nmap and then when the win users anti-trojan app alerted they turned me in. now Mindspring.com is charging me 200 bucks for "admin costs" for breaking their acceptable use policy in which i looked at and I did not break by doing a port scan. Just an uneducated win user and i loose my isp and 200 bucks...the outcome has yet to be determined but again thanks [e-mail] c0rey
