The degree to which people are awful is grossly exaggerated for engagement and rage-baiting republicans. The reality is that most people are fundamentally decent, some are misguided and only a very small number are "awful".

Since there is no way to reliably identify code that was generated by AI, this is really the only pragmatic solution.

Sure, there is going to be a LOT of slop code for software engineers to fix (job security, yay!), but I doubt much if any of it will make its way into the kernel.

The principle problem with humans is that they're completely unreliable, due to basic design.

If you're any good, you'll spend a lot more time understanding problems, designing solutions and finding good techniques for factoring code. If you do nothing but "write code all day", you're a shitty developer.
