Not can, but does interfere. Test in my city showed that a few second transmission on the 20M ham band shut down BPL for several minutes. The Ham's did extensive studies and thier documentation can be found here
Maybe we should be more concerned about its lack of availability due to those pesky ham radio operators.
How long will be till I can buy a BPL interceptor?
