Even TFA states : "With MeeGo less of a focus, Nokia will be free to look" Less of a focus is NOT 'abandonded' and they aren't taking anything AWAY from MeeGo, they are just working with Microsoft and WM7. It's not like they expect all the MeeGo devs to start programming the next version of WM7, if they need WM7 development MS is tackling it.
