The problem with "cooling in Europe" is that it assumes that one-time weather events can be extrapolated into global trends.

Yes, the cloud of ash may in fact causing cooling due to the extra shade, but with all that seething hot, erupting lava, the atmosphere is just going to get hotter.

I really feel sorry for the guy who actually lost the phone, seems like an awful bad thing to happen to someone, especially on their birthday. That said, I absolutely believe that what was found is going the new iphone, whether or not it is in it's final form or not, everything is just too well built for it to end up being just a Chinese knock off. It does seem a little bit sketchy for someone to find a phone, attempt to give it back, then sell it to someone else, all the while the original owner is probably lamenting it's loss and the probable loss of his job.

My thoughts exactly. Especially when you factor in the fact, which others are posting about, that you can often tell by the way a person dresses/carries themselves whether they are mostly liberal or conservative. That fact alone should more than make up for the above-chance positive rate that this study observed. This sounds suspiciously like a researcher trying to make a big deal out of something that is fundamentally common sense.

Write a browser plug-in that randomly mangles these bits of information into to other valid values before passing them to the website, in known "good" combination. You'll start to look like other random people on each request.

The helicopters cost about 300 times as much as a drone, so yes I know how much cheaper that is. The point is, LAPD is not going to be able to afford enough of these to fly around watching every paranoiac who thinks big brother is after them. They don't have the time and resources.
