So, according to "scientists" this thing has been out there for approx. 50 years, which they describe as about a century. And it is somewhere about 120 to 300 feet in diameter (really? Do ANY scientists still use those archaic measurements?). Sheesh! Get out the Ouija board, guys, we need to nail down this sucker!

Cutesy little pictographs may depict gross emotional states, but getting any kind of refined and accurate communication from such things would be an exercise in futility as they currently stand.

While there is much dissent about the broken status of the patents systems - everywhere - this initiative just MIGHT start to shed some light on the ridiculousness of many patents. Who knows, even the idiot judges, who are supposed to represent the mythical "reasonable man", may finally come to the realization that - despite who has the most money, or the lawyers with the biggest fangs - many patents which have been granted are ridiculously obvious and the ideas had existed, and been in common use, for centuries.

Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face! Without the very powerful extensions one can add to Firefox, it becomes just another browser without any particular reason for using it. I'd probably use Google Chrome instead, were Firefox to lose its powerful extensions.
