Yes. Every single one of them has this. Also they are all encouraging people to not go to college and to become a trades person. Literally on opening day of every freshman orientation the local principal tells every student that they are unlikely to go to college. It is honestly a shame.
But yes every school has these things, and they all want to act like it is some new achievement, when they renovate them, but they have all had them always.
There is no shortage of people that can take these jobs, there is a shortage of educated people coming out of our high schools because no one wants to fund education. So what you get instead is people taking these classes because the teachers are hired from industry and they are the kind of people that only care about you if you want to do something. They are happy to let anyone that doesn't want to wear a trucker hat and work on their car in the class to sit at a desk and never learn anything. Like 50% of the students in the class are only there not because they care about it, but because building admin gets money if they take the class and lies to them and tells them they have to. Then the teacher never engages with them, but our numbers are high = money so no one gives a damn.
Oh yeah and EVERY single school gets money for cattling people through these classes. They have for decades, so there are plenty of kids going through them, just not that many kids that actually care about the material and even less that want to go on with it afterwards.
