it was a plot point in Altered Carbon that people could respawn if their chip wasnt damaged. they were fighting for the right to spin up dead people with religious coding (aka respawn locked) to address their killers too >_>
i still think my nokea 1520, the one ms introduced cortana on was the best phone, and microsoft's only good phone. this was because it had regedit to enable tethering without asking the isp, and also nobody made apps/games for it so it was pretty useless outside of texting.
doesnt everyone just get max for free via something else? no really. i get it free from cellphone, friends get it free from cable tv. the "sign in with provider" list has a bunch of choices. >_>
we were listening to NPR in the car a few weeks ago and they were making the claim that enterprise companies were posting jobs they never ever had intention to fill to feign "growth needs" on reports.
i recently blocked claude from all our projects at work because it was hitting the same page on sites that never change 40,000 to 60,000 times a week. really glad thats done now.
sounds like the trick is to make your first heist the biggest and best you can, so they wouldn't even think they would need to use it. fancy things like bomb bots and stuff dont get dragged out until the call seems insane enough.
after the xvideos ticker scrolls by the top, porn is gonna have that movie disclaimer about how any likenessess are accidental. and maybe the ubisoft text about the porn being made by a team of people of all races and religion just to future proof it.
yeah those like 2hr i spend "asleep" but also aware of being awake, getting no rest at all. there was once i fell asleep in front of the laptop and wrote an entire library on it that suddenly did not exist when i woke up. just my blank editor. it mostly worked after writing it for real the second time. i have also invented entire episodes of star trek voyager this way falling asleep in front of the laptop.
there is a bug in hue sync that causes the cpu to stay at 10-16% when i close my laptop and go to work and open it again unless i full restart the app. it started after an update a year and a half ago. been putting it into the in-app feedback once a month but im sure that goes to/dev/null.
