Is cross-contamination the reason so many US "restaurants" serve food with plastic knives, forks, spoons (I've curiously heard them referred to as silverware) and paper plates? Land-fill sites must be huge in the States.

The reuse of plastic bags comes down to sensible food handling practices - nothing more. Your whole process of handling the food needs to be safe - transportation and preparation. Be careful of what you mix, wash food, heat to correct temperature where appropriate. Plus your own personal hygiene...

Bear in mind that if merging early might seem polite. However, it will put multiple points of insertion in queue. So someone merges at the end, everyone behind does slow down a small amount. Someone merges 3 cars behind, cars after that point have now slowed down by 2 increments etc. The slowdown is made worse by some people who need to immediately maintain a huge gap when someone merges in front of them. The correct thing to do is have 1 merging point and cars go one for one. And no clowns should speed up and break the system cutting people off. Not slowing the traffic down is the politest thing you can do.

Unless you want to be outraged because someone got a free lunch or you want to live in fear of being robbed by people with different coloured skin to you, other foreigners or teenagers or you care about policemen running around in the nude on a night out..... why would you even want it. It is frightening to see the influence when you live in a Murdoch-only state. So someone please teach him about robots.txt to stop more people from going to his sites.
