But this isn't supposed to be a "monster" workstation, but it will stand toe to toe with most of them given how superior the CPU is to most of what's out there. You speak as if Apple said this computer covered ALL computing use cases. And what a strange use case to bring up to compare it to, as if a max 40 Gb/sec interface to storage would is a *major* bottleneck for creative pro storage needs. Next you'll ask why bother if it doesn't have 16 hot swappable drive bays and i.Lo remote management built in.

Well, In the last OSX vs Linux article here, you had posters saying things like "The Terminal is actually very limited- you can't even run Make"- it sortof gives the impression that people are talking a ton about something they know very little about. (Yes, Virginia, you *CAN* run make, if you bother to install the developer tools, which comes with every shrinkwrapped copy of MacOS X...)
