I agree that they save lives, but the auto makers and car dealers jack up the prices for in-car tech so much it's criminal. so, here's the deal: the technology is available, but it's so damned expensive it's prohibitive to buy. it's sort of like buying a hybrid and paying an exhorbitant premimum charge, so that it takes about 8 years to amortize the price increase before you save $$ on gas. ah, what a grreat countrry!
