Moreover, if government would be able to force food companies to supplement food with GPL-1, why not make simple and just force them to sell healthy food, without the need to add any drugs? That way, the benefits would be multiple, not just reduce obesity, but increasing the good nutriments that often lack in fast food. This said, something that I find utterly frustrating is when a very healthy food that was buying for many long years ceased to be available, because they were not popular enough. This happened many times for me in the last 20 years.

I am not at all interested to have that kind of drugs put into food. I am able to manage my own weight. I was once obese and I am now with a healthy weight. I just had to cut of bad food, booze and enormeous quantities. While some cases of overweight may be difficult to manage by themselves, I think a lot of people just don't want to make efforts.
