Have you never seen covered parking lots before? They are quite common in Houston. The parking places are covered and the aisles are not. Ford and GM do not operate their own dealerships. They are all owned and operated by a third party, which is how the country has worked for a very long time. EV manufacturers tried selling direct to consumers, but were not allowed in many states. SO, they started opening their own dealerships owned by the manufacturer which pissed off the third party dealerships. The dealerships lobbied to get this law to protect the way things have been working.

I can understand your point of view, and in most big cities there are lots of place that everything is walkable, but a lot of our "ugly, unpleasant" places were designed specifically because we want space. I like living in a suburb where I do not hear what movie my neighbor is watching even if it is loud. I like being able to walk through my neighborhood and not have stores and restaurants everywhere, almost like living in a park that you have to take a bus to get to.

It is not poorly managed, they are doing everything they can to force their personal assistant into your house to get more marketable information about you. Google's business model is NOT selling hardware, it is selling your personal data.

You think that people with money have millions and millions of dollars in the bank? No, they invest it in their business or the stock market and only keep a small amount liquid to deal with regular expenses.

The overall size and shape of a vehicle is fairly unrelated to engine size. Look at sports cars. Corvettes have the same or larger size front mounted engines than most trucks, and they are more aerodynamic with a shorter passenger compartment than a little 4 cylinder car.

I have the same opinion about paid services. If I pay, then I want no ads at all, but if I choose a free service over the paid one I will put up with ads. And that is what this whole ToS change from them is about, people on the free service listening to ads and banning people who block them.

Well, almost half of their subscribers are paid (and they are the real target of the service) and are not going to leave because of this change in the ToS. The ad supported option only exists to advertise the paid service as I believe they lose money on the free subscribers even with the few ads they play. So, if you are blocking their ads, they really don't want you anyway, something about them having to pay for each song they stream, and there is no chance you will start a paid subscription.
