Actually, we elected Jesse because a lot of college kids thought it would be funny to vote for a wrestler with no chance of winning. Several of my friends experienced "voting hangovers" the next morning.
Of course, it does show that if enough people vote for the guy with no chance of winning, he suddenly has a chance.
