Journal bettiwettiwoo's Journal: Pink Is the New Wax 5
In the December 2006 issue of Vanity Fair (we are slightly behind hereunder) there is a small snippet on page 64 called Is Your Betty Ready?, which, for obvious reasons, attracted the attention of yours truly.
It turns out that Brazilians aren't fashionable anymore; le dernier crie in pubic fashion is now Betty Beauty, a semi-permanent hair dye. Although available in several colours, 'pink is the top seller' according to Nancy Jarecki, one of the company's founders. A men's line is under development.
This certainly brings new meaning to the expression a bad hair day. Or a good hair day. As Daily Candy says: 'go on and wash that man right into your hair.'
Pink landing-strip, anyone?

I don't understand why Beauty Betty hasn't gone for more a 'artifical' palette colours like orange, peacock blue, purple, gold, etc. That black is just scary. Imagine happening upon it unawares!
