These are the 100 Most Frequently Used words in written English. They make up 50% of EVERYTHING we write. (And we wonder why it's so hard to find people who actually have something to SAY!)

Anyway.

Game for today: Write as many coherent statements as you can (Eth, you're usually pretty incoherent anyway, so we'll just play along and nod and smile at whatever you say) using ONLY the above 100 words.

I'm in a hurry to get out of the house, but I'll get us started off with a quick example:

Be that as it may, I would like some water first.

Your turn. GO.

  • They will do what should be done, but first, they will do what they said they would do.

I like it... It's almost profound.

  • He said I would like to know if she has been one of the first people I had in my water when she had the time to go from A to BE. May I call you? Can you go down on me? I like to come.
    • Most people I know have, at one time or other, said they like a long word.
    • I could write to you, but then how would you know what I sound like?
    • A number of people may be in hot water when I find out who did it.
    • I would like to go down on you, but this time I would like you to make some sound.[1]

[1] Hey, it's a bethanie journal... what did you expect?

    • I'm disappointed. I would think someone would make a multidimensional array in some programming language, define each word according to its part of speech (noun, article, adverb, adjective, verb, preposition etc.), then write a function to generate all possible combinations using the template $ARTICLE $ADJECTIVE $NOUN $VERB $PREPOSITION $ARTICLE $NOUN.

And then impress the shit out of bethanie with their cleverness.

If they wanted to impress her, that is.

      Get to it, you lot!

      PS: I am,

      • I did this. But all day they did sound like was some word no one would ever write. The number of them was long and it would time out. More than all the people there ever were is the number. Most did not use each word, but some of them would go on and on and on. One call could come up and then go down for each word and many, I know, would each use up each word, but no two would go with what you write. I may do this when I have no one who has to do a thing where I am. But for now, I can write this and
      • I will do this. Give me the rest of lunchtime to work something out...
    • s/Smal/Small/ obviously.

Brain off-line, please wait.
