Journal bethanie's Journal: Darling it's better down where it's wetter, take it from me! 30
So y'all may or may not have heard that the world's largest aquarium opened in Atlanta last November.
I've held off on taking the kids to give the crowds a chance to subside a bit, but my intention has been to buy an annual pass, and then make good use of it -- because the price of Adult admission is $22.75 and for kids (3-12) it's $17. The high prices are the first thing that *everyone* has remarked upon when talking about the aquarium. Everyone seems really excited that it's open -- but NO one seems to want to pay that much to go.
I agree, it is pretty pricey -- so for us, the Annual Pass is *definitely* the way to go!
But Hubby, fortunately, was listening to the radio this morning and they have announced that they are cutting off Annual Pass sales as of 15 January because they've sold so many.
In any case, I'm delighted to say that we are now the proud owners of Annual Passes (just for me and Kiddo -- Squirt won't need one till she's 3, and Hubby won't be available to go most of the time) to the Georgia Aquarium.
Woot! :-)

Even better - smuggle the rod and a large fresh dead fish in - then walk around openly with the fish dangling from the rod.
