Comment Boot up speed with Microsoft (Score 1) 975
When I went to the launch of Windows 95 in London - glitzy presentation etc, I was promised no more blue screens and NO BOOT UP DELAY. Instant on and instant of were the ways of the (then) future.
Of course, even during the presentation this turned out not to be true! The rest, a they say, is history.
