Journal Journal: xbox robbery

Ok, i just have to bitch this out.. mod me whatever or ignore me. I got an xbox 360 a year ago. being a dork, i obviously got oblivion. I set up a gamertag, downloaded a bunch of add ons. Something went wrong with said gamertag, so i made a new one. On the new one, i downloaded more add ons. everything worked. said xbox died a few months later (3 flashing lights, av problem, not the cable, but in the console).. i got a replacement from bill and co. it took an hour on the phone with them to get all the oblivion content working.... (all under new gamertag) fast forward to a month ago. replacement xbox shit the bed. drive/laser problems. i sent it back for replacement. in the spirit of giving for xmas, i got myself a new 360 and sold my roommate the old one.. (i'm not a scumbag, he got the repaired/refurb one, not the broken one) i got myself the cheap xbox, and the 120 gig hd. (elite system, but in pieces) i just called xbox support to try to get all the oblivion content working. It seems the downloaded content is tied into the serial # of the xbox. They told me that since i purchased a new xbox, i had to repay for the downloaded content to make it work. had i been using the replacement one, it'd be ok, and they'd transfer the licenses. i did the hd transfer thing when i got the new drive.. it moves everything, not copy.. so, there's no way i'm copying anything, or illegally reusing anything. so, since i paid microsoft more money, i have to pay them more money to get stuff i already paid for? anyone know how to get this working again without me having to pay them more?
