Journal bellus quies's Journal: Multicolored Me 14

Yep, I have delved into the Crayola box of haircolor and this is what I've come up with...

Multicolored Me

It's taken some getting used to, but it's growing on me (literally).

(If the links doen't work, just imagine what you'd come up when you mix bleach with scant amounts of purple)

  • I am suitably impressed. I did not think that us brown haired people could go blonde as well as you have. Of course, I still think brown hair is the best; so I must heretofore refer to you as a traitor, but your new look is fantastic. Great choice with the purple on the bangs and tips.
  • I can't wait to see phase 3!
  • At least you have hair on your head to play with... *sniff!*

Maybe I should shave most of my head, and go for the Patrick Stewart Shiny-headed Lurve God look... what do ya think? :-)
  • Hair that good demands public viewing in late night locales. But how is it working for the daytime? Are the people at your work reacting in any obvious way or are most of them pretending to ignore the hair?
  • I like you with your natural color much better.
First of all, the difference between your hair and your eyebrows is too noticeable. It makes you look kinda.. like a person who doesn't care.
But the main thing is that your natural color is much better. I didn't get yet what it is - something between brown and red - but it's much more magical than the current multicolor scheme. ;)

    Your overseas fan.
  • It looks good and I can't wait for the final photo. I've always liked funky, punky hair on women. Now all you need is a little leather and some Doc Martens.

As an aside, from when I had blue hair, I should let you know that the more platnum you get the hair in the first place, the better colors like blue and purple will look and they will not look so dark. There are products that can help with that or even going to a good stylist and forking over $60 or so to get that good platnum look.

    Best,
    • Ah, but I did shell out the $$ to have it bleached by a pro. I just picked out a dark shade of purple to start out with, that way as it gradually washes out I get a longer run with the inbetween shades rather than going directly from good immediatly to lilac.

Ah, good plan. Mine went from a very bright blue to a color that did very closely match lilac over the course of a month or so. At this point lilac was not very manly, so we went black from there and then gradually back to a natural color when I really grew it out down to my lower back. It's very short now

  • I must say that if you could pull off anime hair color and not have it look bad I would drool after you endlessly, well figuratively speaking unless you actually wanted me to follow after you drooling, but even then.... Green and blue anime hair, mmm
