More importantly is privacy. I would much rather have my personal data stored locally on my own machine than some Google data center. The desktop will always have a place for those concerned with their private things - even if a significant portion of their personal data is sent through the networks via online banking, taxes, etc...

that's precisely the point. in order to satisfy your actual work requirements - you likely need to put in more than the 8 hour day. So if you are only working a 5-6 hour day (such as the poll suggests), you likely aren't doing your job very well. And as such - you likely wont be keeping your job during times like these

will the videos be censored? i never understood why videos on the various video channels are censored so heavily. even late night shows are censored despite being on cable televison. i want to see videos without t-shirts being blurred out and half the song missing lyrics
