Gingrich has been a moon colony fan for decades (Score 1)

In the 1980s when Gingrich was just a back-bench Congressman he proposed a bill that would allow a moon colony to petition to become a State once it got enough permanent residents, so you can't argue that he's a johnny-come-lately on this issue. Besides, with the amount of money that went into the failed 'Stimulus', we could have gone a long way towards creating a lunar base by now; instead we wasted it on pet projects and bailing out banks and labor unions.
