I think it's clear which is better. You pay almost double for the mac and get less. I would like to switch but they just never make it viable. $100 premium is one thing. This is just insane.

Uhh, food is not taxed unless it is prepared food. If you go to a supermarket and buy the basics like as is necessary to live you are not taxed. McDonalds is not a necessity. Clothing is also not taxed in some states (NJ for instance).
