Of course, this was *not* the Original Unix(TM), but what happened after the Suits realized that the giveawayware had "commercial value" (pause for ooos and aaaahs), and must be "protected".

I still have one of Ken's free Unix tapes from the PDP days. Original Unix was. We must remain ever vigilant as the saying goes.
