KenW writes "Mozilla has launched a new marketing campaign to promote Firefox: adopting red pandas and putting them on live webcams. The company wants to underline the fact that the red panda is the mascot for its open source browser via a new section on its site called Firefox Live. It's clear that Mozilla is trying to think of new ways to promote its browser ahead of the launch of Firefox 4. The company has been struggling recently as Firefox steadily loses share to Google Chrome."

The grand parent is confusing to needed energy to push an object through a fluid medium, Which does go up as a square of speed do to parasitic drag. However that the energy in the body is as parent said f=Ma.

It is currently estimated that more than 1200 species of bacteria, yeast and other organisms numbering 100 trillion in total inhabit the human gastrointestinal tract and make up the "gut flora". What are the odds some of that yeast in your gastrointestinal tract is making alcohol right now? Don't now if its over .000 but I'll bet there is some alcohol in your blood right now.

Julie188 writes "Greg Kroah-Hartman has released five new stable Linux kernels, correcting minor errors of their predecessors and including improvements which are unlikely to generate new errors. As so often with kernel versions in the stable series, it remains undisclosed if the new versions contain changes which fix security vulnerabilities, although the number of changes and some of the descriptions of those changes certainly suggest that all the new versions contain security fixes."

If I toss two coins in the air and tell you that one of them came up heads what is the probability the other one is also heads it would be 1 out of three the three possibility are 1) heads second one also heads 2) tails second one heads 3) heads second one tails so 1/3 if I said the fist coin came up heads then the odds of the second one being heads would be 1 out of 2 1) heads second one also heads 3) heads second one tails

Humunculus writes "Of more worldly issues, NASA's latest multimillion-dollar stratosphere-bound balloon launch has gone horribly wrong and crashed into a car, turning it over and narrowly missing two elderly people who were observing the launch. The payload fared worse, reportedly being smashed into a 'thousand pieces.'"
