I work at Plexus, a global Electronic Manufacturing Services company, in the engineering services division. We do hardware, PCB layout, software, mechanical, test, project management, etc. Whatever piece or pieces you are looking for, we can do. If you want to use us for manufacturing eventually, great. One of the big things PTC talked about when they did my company's release update session was their new "Granite" architecture. They released a new free/cheap modeler that's can handle Pro/E files and called it Pro/Desktop Express. It has some of the basic functionality of Pro/E. They explained it as being CAD for non-CAD people, to get more people using it. It's the "Free 3D cad software" mentioned on their homepage.
