Woah, sick burn bro. It cuts because after a decade or so on this site, the 4 or 5 troll mods I've gotten have really been a drag on my soul. At least you don't look even more like a gaslighting asshat incapable of reasoned argument.

You call ars centrist and talk about right-wing propaganda... How out of touch and delusional is it possible to be? I think this might be some sort of record

I called Ars "predominantly centrist" you ninny; there's a difference. Here's the first two bias-check links from a DuckDuckGo search to back up what I said:

"LEAST BIASED" - https://mediabiasfactcheck.com...

"Ad Fontes Media rates ARS Technica as neutral in terms of bias ..." - https://www.adfontesmedia.com/...

I suggest you contact Guiness Book and inform them of the magnitude of your delusion.

"Democratic socialism" is not what gives us roads and bridges and firefighters. Those are public works, and predate the invention of socialism.

As if something can't exist in function before it is named using modern nomenclature. As for the rest of your comment; thank you for providing a case and point for "nothing but a god-damned propaganda parrot ..."

Comment Re:Confusion of Terms (Score 1) 278

Perhaps you would care to tell us all what term should be used in place of "socialism"?

There is no appreciable form of "Socialism" US domestic politics. The closest we get is "Democratic Socialism" - which is what gives us toll-free highways, toll-free bridges, fire departments that serve everyone regardless of whether or not they can pay, public schools, Social Security, unemployment benefits, and a whole long list of other crap you probably take for granted and use damn near every day.

You want to talk about Marx and Lenin, go ahead and use the word socialism as it is probably contextually relevant. Use that word to talk about current US politics and you automagically look like an idiot asshat who's been sucking on the far-right kool-aid; nothing but a god-damned propaganda parrot who knows nothing of what socialism actually is or isn't.

Let me get this straight: you just stated that a predominantly factual centrist technical rag is basically equivalent to far-left political media and then expect us to think it strange that you got banned for throwing around a far-right trigger term that usually has little resemblance to reality; i.e., far-right propaganda. Sounds more like they got you properly pegged.

What does "the day after the US Capitol riot" have to do with the topic?

Well, I'm sure it's some sort of deep-slash attempt to silence Big Buthurt instead of because, as the summary says, the info had to be re-released since the initial news was drowned out in favor of news of the Capitol riot. By all means though, please make this into a conspiracy theory. In fact, I bet there will be a Q drop about it any day now.

Sorry sweetheart, unlike you and the narcissistic asshats you look up to, some of us have honor and believe in maintaining truth and in setting our wrongs right - even if it costs us something personally in the eyes of the weak. It's called integrity. You should try it some time.
