I work for a government agency and I have to deal with consulting engineers on a daily basis. All these people have to do is send in some paperwork and some blue prints. The sad part is getting the information correct off of their paperwork and blueprints is like pulling teeth. For example this one permit I had to do... they were pages of some forms, plus they had an 8 inch gravity sewer pipe going into a 10 inch pressure pipe with pumps that would turn on and off every 7 seconds. Aside from them not thinking stuff like that out, they have to always be right even when they aren't up to our standards. They will argue with us but whoever sends us their plans (which is mainly anyone who is doing any kind of sewer work) already have our standards. So if any professional engineers are out there reading this, you really need to think before sending out plans, be it good or bad.
