banky's Journal: quick note for my IRC peeps

I'm not avoiding anyone. 1, my parents were in town this weekend, and so I had to spend a lot of time entertaining them.

2, I'm using Windows right now, for my job. I have mIRC on it but the machine itself is a laptop with a tendency to run a little hot. So rather than just idle as I have in the past, I am shutting it down when I'm not using it. And since I'm a stranger in a strange land, I am *trying* to remain focused on dealing with work. Believe me: if this was a Mac project I'd be on all the effing time. But I am learning 3/4 of this crap OTJ so I want to be as concentrated on it as possible.

due to issues in my life and the fact that I am too depressed to have too much interaction with other people I have decided to stop using irc. try not to kick sporty too many times if he ever comes back on.
