Please show evidence and examples proving that they "made up" "fake evidence of weapons of mass destruction". And then please show the evidence and proof that they intentionally sent our troops into the gulf just so that Haliburton could sell gas. WHERE IS IT??? Apparently you wish to ignore the fact that Clinton was willing to use force against Iraq in 1998 and that he had the full support of a large majority of the democrats, exactly what was wrong with the evidence he was using to support his claims at that time, and what changed and made it suddenly all baseless between his presidency and Bush's!?!?!?!?!
Let's look at the IRS figures regarding taxes. http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/pub/irs-soi/01in01ts.x
According to the 2001 revised numbers, the top 1% of wage earners payed 33.89% of total income taxes paid. Top 5% pay 53.25% of all income taxes. The top 10% pay 64.89%. The top 25% pay 82.9%. The top 50% pay 96.03%. The bottom 50% pay 3.97% of all income taxes. Less than four dollars out of every $100 paid in income taxes in the United States is paid by someone in the bottom 50% of wage earners.
According to the 2000 numbers the top 1% earns 17.53 (2000: 20.81%) of all income. The top 5% earns 31.99 (2000: 35.30%). The top 10% earns 43.11% (2000: 46.01%); the top 25% earns 65.23% (2000: 67.15%), and the top 50% earns 86.19% (2000: 87.01%) of all the income.
Anyone intelligent should be able to come to the obvious conclusion that because the top wage earners pay more taxes, ANY ACROSS THE BOARD TAX CUT WILL OBVIOUSLY BENEFIT THEM MORE THAN SOMEONE PAYING LESS...
"nearly brought peace to Isreal"?? This is laughable, where do you come up with this trash? He was nowhere near to completing a peace plan, the same problems that have occurred during previous attempts at a peace settlement occurred there and Arafat rejected Israel's concessions. "'A summit's purpose,' Clinton said, 'is to have discussions that are based on sincere intentions and you, the Palestinians, did not come to this summit with sincere intentions.' Then he got up and left the room." - Bill Clinton, according to Ben-Ami's diary.
"He fought 3 successful wars". Just what was the war about in Kosovo again? UN claims that the Serbs killed over 100,000, which was reduced to 60,000 then 30,000 and finally coming down to around 3,000 actually found. So we went to "war" with Slobodan Milosevic, which was a complete failure btw and failed to cause almost any damage to enemy targets with its bomb from on high strategy, based on the information being given and come to find out we killed nearly as many innocent civilians as the Serbs did and intentionally bombed civilian targets unlike in Iraq. So that is excusable or simply not worth notice, but when Bush, using much of the same information available to Clinton when he was ramping up for military force against Iraq, and all of the intel available, from defectors the UN and many other sources, decides to go in against a well proven dictator who posed a real threat according to the intelligence at hand, suddenly Bush is personally responsible for all intelligence failures or flaws and should be logically assumed to be a liar? um yeah right, how "logical" and consistent of you...
I would really like to hear more about these successful wars that Clinton "fought" though. Please explain just what our aims were, and how we successfully completed those goals. And while you are at it, please list the various economic or other domestic policies that Clinton created and passed as well as any programs originally proposed or created by his administration so we can compare Clinton and Bush according to their records.
