Is it Intel or ARM? If it's Intel, it won't run any Android native apps, and if it's Arm it won't run most Windows apps.

That's statement not true. There are x86 android devices , The new Galaxy Tab for a exemple. A friend of mige got he Motorala Razr i with an atom inside: http://www.slashgear.com/motorola-razr-i-official-2ghz-intel-android-smartphone-18248009/ It runs most android apps, some won't run however.

I live in France, such a socialist and nanny and whateve state, you Americans like to name call us , here there's a law where customer can sue a company for refusing to do business with him/her, that's called "refus de vente" (refusal of sale). Of course thre's some limit to this, I don't know the speficifcs you'd have to look for yourself if interested. My question is, what if I as "business" refuse to serve jews, or negroes or women of whatever? Is this my right? What are the limits to "They are free to chose who to do business with and who not to"? I have mod points, but your post bugs me, so I thought I'd reply.

Ask Slashdot: How Long Do We Give an Online Service To Fix Issues? 113

ncc189 writes "The Funimation Roku channel has been basically unusable during primetime for about a month now. With very little feedback from the company and no improvements to the service at all, I canceled my account. My question to Slashdot users is: how long do you give a service to fix issues before you cancel the service, and how much leeway do you give the service's representatives in communicating issue with us? It seems to me that a few days is more than enough in the internet age; 3+ weeks is beyond reason. How long do you think is fair for services like this?"

This story reminds me of when I was doing support for an ISP about 12 years ago. This guy calls and I can't even remember what his problem was. I remember I asked him to delete a file. Then he asks me "how do you do that?". Now I know I shouldn't but I'm pissed off, I hate those kind of questions. "go learn to use your computer before calling me, you moron", was all I wanted to say Anyway, I tell the guy how to delete the file. he does it and the asks me: Him: there's an error message , what do I do? click yes or no? Me: What does the message say? Him: Do you really want to delete the file? Me: What do we want to do? delete the file? so delete the file? Him: yes, but what do I do, yes or no? Me: what does the message say? Him: It says: Do you really want to delete the file? Me: Ok, so delete the file Him: But what do I do, click yes or no? Me (I know I'm a prick at this point, but just for the fun of it): delete the file. .... It went like this for at list 15mn, I don't even remember how it ended. All I know is some users are beyond any help.

Before we see a Windows 8 I'd like to see a real Windows 7. What they call Windows Seven is actually Windows 6.1, a glorified Windows Vista. Type in "ver" in a command prompt to check out. Don't get me wrong, I've be using Seven since the RC and I quite like it. It's a real improvement over XP and Vista. But I still think it's overrated and the name is actually just a marketing thing.

First of all I'm french. What I'd like to know is how they're gonna send the warning if I "infringe" on someone copyright. See they say the ISP must send an email to the offender. OK but what about most people who use online mail services as their primary, or even only, email address. Lots of people don't use the address they're given by the ISP. The only email address my ISP have for me hasn't been read for year. It's like they send a letter to you secondary house. How am is people supposed to know, just one day they wake and teir connection is gone. Can this hold in court?
