White House Correspondent Tweets His Heart Attack 77

Tommy Christopher, who writes for mediate.com, has reporting in his blood, so much so that he livetweeted every part of his recent heart attack. "I gotta be me. Livetweeting my heart attack. Beat that!" and "This is not like the movies. Most deadpan heart attack evar. Still hurts even after the morphine," were among his updates as he was rushed to the hospital. Christopher is now in stable condition after recovering from emergency surgery.

The Emotiv device has been garnering attention at trade shows and conferences for several years, and now the company says it is set to launch the Emotiv EPOC headset on December 21. PC Authority spoke to co-founder Nam Do about the Emotiv technology and its potential as a mainstream gaming interface." One wonders what kind of adoption they expect with a $299 price tag.

I had problems with P2P on my network and installed DD-WRT for the same reasons as above. The key for me was setting the TCP and UDP timeouts to 120 seconds, which the DD-WRT docs suggest when running P2P software. Before this, no other client on my network could get a connection to anything when I was running Shareaza. After making this change, I had no other problems. I would try this first before trying to shape any of your traffic. Rich
