i myself am the perfect example of napster causing more cd purchases. since i got into mp3s my CD collection has trippled. this year alone i have spend probably around $300 on music... this is probably double what i had spend in my whole life before that (i'm 17). some cd's i bought because i felt they were too good to pirate! how's that for a guilt trip...
