Whatever it was, that Petya thing hit bunch of Russian companies as well. For example, it hit Russia's top oil providers Rosneft and Bashneft. Some of them suffered quite a bit. Invitro, a nationwide network of private medical laboratories, temporarily ceased samples collection due to the cyberattack.

What do you mean by the word “still”? Of course I use it, otherwise I would need to visit 100—200 websites daily. As for Facebook and Twitter: news don't happen on Facebook so it's irrelevant, Twitter still has RSS, it's just hidden.

Actually, OneDrive space that Office 365 subscription provides may be cheaper. Google and Dropbox both have tebibyte plans starting from $100 per year. OfficeÂ365 has $100 yearly plan for 5 users (each gets 1 TiB of OneDrive, the entire Office package, and 60 Skype minutes), or $70 plan for a single user. I know not everyone needs a whole tebibyte. That's why I said it may be cheaper.
