That's a bit silly considering that
1. there are local AI models that don't depends on online services that are pretty powerful and can be used for programming already -- at least for things that students need.
2. there are open source AI models that will not go anywhere when the bubble bursts

Simple solution, make a confirmation dialog when one subscribes. This way it's equally easy to subscribe and to cancel.
