astat's Journal: Thunderbird swallowing valid emails

In its newest Version 1.5.0.8 (and including beta versions for 2.0), the free Thunderbird email client has been reported to accidentially delete various emails due to problems with their email headers.
The developers have found a fix but haven't indicated when 1.5.0.9 will be released. Meanwhile, many people are already downgrading to 1.5.0.7
