Imagine getting paid for what you do instead of the time spent working on it. If you can't even accurately measure productivity and have to make up BS about "working hours" then your argument is lost. I started WFH back in 2006 and found it way more productive and sometimes I worked very, very long hours and I also occasionally hardly worked any at all on other days but my productivity (things done on time and under budget) increased exponentially when I started working that way. I don't think working from home hours can be accurate anyway because younwould have to measure not just the time I am logged in and active as well as the time I am on the phone or drawing on my white board, both of which might show me as "idle." I highly doubt things like that were taken into account in determining the hours accurately. This article is only advocating to keep the commercial real estate market from bottoming out. There have been others attempting to do the same and there will be more of these types of BS articles. None of them have nor will they have any real substance. Commercial real estate developers have already done enough damage so I couldn't care any less if they failed and I kind of hope they do.

Are you suggesting that the thousands (or is it millions?) of Android users that only have a gmail account because they have an Android phone should just give Google more money outright instead? So, the options are either they get more intrusive ads or they pay more? If you are suggesting they dump Google and use a third party then do you also realize they lose access to maps, the app store, and any other Google services if they do that? Either way, Google is getting their money if you want to continue using any of the Google services. But it's "dirt cheap?" This would be more palatable if Google didn't restrict their app store the way they do. Or are you maybe insinuating that Amazon should get more revenue instead? I have yet to find a computer that actually prevented me from being able to install Linux and I've been using various flavors of linux since 1998 (first distro I used was Slackware). The biggest and most immediate benefactors of this ill be banks, not consumers. This is geared more for banks and business. If the banks choose to, they can enable things like interbank instant transfers but they already have something in place that gives them better interchange rates (for them) so why would they cut into their own profits? They wouldn't and they won't. This just lets banks and large enough merchants of all kinds to do SDF instead of NDF and to not rely on the fed being open to get their money.

CA wrote the book on election tampering and even used to brag about how well they could change the outcome of an election. The U.S. was not the first country they manipulated and FB directly enabled CA to do so. So our entire election was directly tampered with and FB is still in business. The question we ask now is why FB still exists but we already know why, don't we? A settlement doesn't really mean anything.

Apple is not a monopoly nor is anyone stuck using them. There are alternatives to Apple. In fact, not using Apple products might just improve your life in ways you didn't even realize. That being said, what both Apple and Google do sucks as far as the amount they take (30%) from app developers but, again, you don't have to lock yourself into a single platform Do Apple fanatics understand that at all? People that buy into Apple's marketing get what they deserve.

With the cost of manufacturing the console and the issues involved in the cost/supply of chips for said console, that leaves the platform itself as the only way for Sony to really make any decent profit on the PS. Take that away and Sony will no longer have any incentive to even continue PlayStation console at all. This is a spoiled brat lawsuit brought by whining gamers that want a discount but can't get one. Here's an idea: go read a book or find something else to do (or maybe a second job to feed your insatiable need for gaming).
