I never noticed a problem with the CLE266 using ukbd(4) & ums(4). I tried umass(4) and axe(4) for a short time, and they seem to work too.
It isn't easy being the parent of a six-year-old. However, it's a pretty small price to pay for having somebody around the house who understands computers.
