There is no SINGLE silver bullet ! (Score 1)

Guys, until we get over this 'my language rocks, and yours sucks' approach, the industry will continue to lurch from one silver bullet to the next. What we need is good programmers who understand that having a toolkit, and knowing which tool to use for which job, is more important than having a 'one-size-fits-all' language/framework/methodology. Take a look at some of the apps that good programmers managed to craft with 'average' tools like vi, C, make and gdb .... Any tool is only ever as good as the tradesman wielding it.
