This is simply bad planning. AT&T jumped into the pool before seeing if there was water in it. In time, I'm sure they'll fix their 3G network, and hopefully, have the ability to support new technologies (ie 4G) while upgrading their network. They already missed the 3G boat and it would be a shame if they missed the next. Possibly, AT&T could be a market lesson of "what not to do" when adding new types of gadgets to their network. Whatever the case, the damage could already be done. This being said, this could have been any other US carrier that could be suffering from this, if the statement of iPhone users' network demand is as high as they state.
