Re:You *need* an Aten MasterView Plus switch (Score 1)

I have to say I agree, I have four 8 port ATEN CS-138D KVM switches, I believe their 4 port models are just as good. I have had very few problems, and those that I have had were probably the result of me skimping on the cables. The OSD on some models is useful (since I have the switch mounted just out of reach). I love the "smart" capabilities, I can power up all 32 computers in my racks all at once, this saves a surprising amount of time, although I suppose that not two important for a four port model. These KVM's make a mockery of the cheaper models, I believe the price is fair considering the quality and features provided. --
