Business Sense (Score 1)

I doubt very much that Zend would evaluate a partnership like this as being, or creating a business disadvantage to the PHP platform. I also doubt very much that Zend ever had a mission of being exlusively on any one platform. That says to me they will aggressively develop PHP - and use this to their advantage in providing best of breed web scripting technologies. The real question is how this will or will/not work with ASP.
